T-Ball Rules

All teams must use a bat-around order, which utlizies every player on the roster who is present at the game. Each team will bat around every inning. Once the final player has batted, the inning will end.
There shall be no on deck batter. A player may not pick up a bat until it is his or her turn to bat. All batters must wear a batting helmet.
A batter or base runner who is out must return to the team bench once the out has been recorded.
All players must play every inning in the field, including at least one (1) inning in the infield. Please rotate the players every inning. If there is a concern over a player's safety in the infield, please discuss this issue with the child's parents and the Division Director.
No more than six (6) players may occupy the infield at anytime. There shall be no player in the catcher's position.
No new complete inning shall begin after play has reached one and one half (1 1/2) hours.
Base runners must have their foot on the base when the batter hits the ball. There is no head first sliding.
Play will be stopped when the ball is returned to home plate, at which time no runners may advance. Base runners should be held up when the ball is being thrown in.
No strikes will be called for missed swings.
Bunting is not permitted.
No more than two (2) coaches of the fielding team may be on the field to assist its players.
No more than one (1) coach of the batting team may assist the batter. One (1) coach may serve as a base coach to assist the team's base runners. It is recommended that a coach be responsible for making sure each batter is ready to hit.
Only the team manager and two coaches that have been approved by the Board of Directors may be on the team bench or playing field during the game. No parents, other than approved coaches, may be on the playing field at anytime.
Each team must conduct one (1) practice per week, at which baseball fundamentals shall be taught to the team.
Each team must arrive at the field at least thirty (30) minutes prior to the start of its game in order to practice and stretch in preparation for the game.
If team conflicts cannot be resolved after giving authority to the manager, the Division Director should be contacted immediately.
Each team must have a team parent's meeting prior to the start of the season at which time the league rules and playing requirements must be outlined.
Each team must assign a team administrator who must attend the team administrator's meeting.
